アダムは神様が創造した最初の人であり、土の塵から造られ、神様の息吹によって命が与えられました（創世記 2:7）。
Adam was the first man created by God, created from the dust of the earth, and given life by the breath of God (Genesis 2:7).
神様はアダムをエデンの園に置き、その管理をさせ、善悪の知識の木以外のどの木からでも食べる自由を与えてくださいました。（創世記 2:15-17）。
God placed Adam in the Garden of Eden to care for it and gave him the freedom to eat from any tree except one, the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (Genesis 2:15-17).
神様はアダムに伴侶が必要であることを見て、アダムの肋骨から最初の女性であるイブを創造しました。二人は幸せに暮らしていました。（創世記 2:21-22）。
God saw that Adam needed a companion, so he created the first woman, Eve, from Adam’s rib. The two lived happily (Genesis 2:21-22.

However, Adam and Eve disobeyed God and ate the forbidden fruit (Genesis 3:6).
彼らが神様に従わなかったため、罪が世界に入り、神様は彼らをエデンの園から追い出しました。（創世記 3:23）。
Because they disobeyed God, sin entered the world, and God sent them out of the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:23).

Adam is a very important person. Because he was the first human and his story shows us how sin and God’s plan of salvation began (Romans 5:12).
