アブラハムは神様を信頼し、神様が彼の実家を出て新しい地に行くように言われたとき、従った人でした（創世記 12:1-4）。
Abraham was a man who trusted God and obeyed when God told him to leave his own family and go to a new land (Genesis 12:1-4).
神様はアブラハムに、空の星の数ほど多くの子孫が与えられると約束しました（創世記 15:5）。
God promised Abraham that he would have many descendants, as many as the stars in the sky (Genesis 15:5).
アブラハムとその妻サラは非常に高齢でしたが、神様は約束どおり息子イサクを彼らに与えてくださいました（創世記 21:1-3）。
Even though Abraham and his wife Sarah were very old, God gave them a son, Isaac, just as He had promised (Genesis 21:1-3).
神様はアブラハムにイサクを生贄として捧げることを求めて彼の信仰を試こころみました。しかし神様は最後にアブラハムを止め、代わりに雄お羊ひつじを準備してくださいました（創世記 22:12-13）。
God tested Abraham’s faith by asking him to sacrifice Isaac. But God finally stopped Abraham and provided a ram in his place (Genesis 22:12-13).
アブラハムは神様の約束を信じ、その信仰のゆえに神の友と呼ばれました（創世記 2:23）。
Abraham believed God’s promises and was called a friend of God because of his faith (Genesis 2:23).
神様はアブラハムに、彼の家族を通して地球上のすべての国が祝福されると語られました（創世記 12:3）。
God told Abraham that through his family all the nations of the earth would be blessed (Genesis 12:3).
アブラハムの物語は、たとえ理解できなくても、神様と神様の計画を信頼することを教えています（へブル人への手紙 11:8）。
Abraham’s story teaches us to trust God and His plans, even when we don’t understand them (Hebrews 11:8).
