ノアは、地球上の他の誰もが間違ったことをしているとき、神様に従った善良な人でした（創世記 6:9）。
Noah was a good man who obeyed God when everyone else on Earth was doing wrong (Genesis 6:9).
神様はノアに、堕落した人々を裁くために洪水を起こそうとしているので、箱舟と呼ばれる大きな船を造るように言いました（創世記 6:13-14）。
God told Noah to build a large ship called the Ark because He was going to send a flood to judge the fallen people (Genesis 6:13-14).
ノアは神様に言われた通り箱舟を造り、家族とあらゆる種類の動物を二匹ずつ箱舟に乗せました（創世記 7:7-9）。
Noah built the Ark as God told him to do, and put his family and all kinds of animals two each on the Ark (Genesis 7:7-9).
雨は40日間、昼も夜も降り続き、洪水が全地を覆いました（創世記 7:12, 19）。

After the rain stopped, Noah sent a dove. The dove returned with an olive leaf. That was proof that the water was gone (Genesis 8:11).

When Noah and his family left the ark, he thanked God (Genesis 8:20-21).
