イブはアダムの伴(はん)侶(りょ)となるために神様によってアダムの肋(ろっ)骨(こつ)から創造された最初の女性でした（創世記 2:21-22）。
Eve was the first woman, created by God from Adam’s rib to be his companion. (Genesis 2:21-22).
彼女は美しいエデンの園でアダムと一緒に暮らし、そこで植物や動物の世話をしていました（創世記 2:15）。
She lived with Adam in the beautiful Garden of Eden, where they cared for the plants and animals. (Genesis 2:15).
神様はアダムとイブに、善悪の知識の木以外のどの木からでも食べてもよいと言われました（創世記 2:16-17）。
